Clark Murray began his career as an On-Air Television News Reporter and then received classical marketing and research training while service as a Vice President at J. Walter Thompson and as Director of Brand, Innovation, Marketing, New Products & Strategy at KraftHeinz. In 2002, he launched his own business – the ChurchillGroup – specializing in qualitative market research. Clark employs a unique “Report-Journalist” interviewing method focused on delivering fresh insights. He has conducted over 900 qualitative research projects on behalf of a broad mix of consumer, pharmaceutical/healthcare, and business-to-business clients.
We were excited to sit down with Clark in our All About Qual interview series, and had an insightful conversation about being on television, interviewing tradecraft, and the role of technology in research.
